ABOUT ME

Live's one big adventure for me, and I like to experience it to the fullest. It's taken me all over the world and even to some of the deepest depths of the oceans. But, I am just as much about sharing it with others... my cool roomies, and our 'tribe' Desert Star Systems, a great ocean tech company built with friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I've been dead for the last 14,000,000,000 years since the big bang. I have a few years now, and then I will be dead for many billions more... I'm gonna make the best of those few years on the planet!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been backpacking, hitchhiking and the like ever since I've been a teen, but Josh got me started in couch surfing. Surfed through this site just once myself, and it was a great experience. We frequently have couch surfers at our house. Maybe you are next? If interested, just contact Josh. He is our house 'couch surfing coordinator'.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our couch at home is frequently occupied, by old and new friends alike... It's always added a lot; it's just plain fun to meet new people and swap stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It happened as I slipped through that ice hole at the Evans ice wall, at the foot of Mount Erebus, Antarctica. Below me a void opened up, water so crystal clear I thought I was falling. In the distance, the surreal sounds of the Weddell seals, like alien creatures. Then the ice hole in the distance receding, the only escape and certain death if I should loose it. It occurred to me that this is as far as I had ever been from home, as far as I most likely would ever get to be....
