Hey! :)

On March 21st 2019 I flew to Japan to start a trip around the world. I don't know how long I will stay in Japan and where I will go afterwards but I look forward to meet a lot of locals / couchsurfers who can share some fun-time and insider advise! ;)

I like being active and being outside. I enjoy doing all kind of sport and I'm always open to do new stuff. A little bit more then a year ago I started practicing brazilian jiu-jitsu. Other sports I especially like are: badmintong, inline skating, skiing, floor ball, ice skating, biking. Maybe you can introduce me into a sport I haven't done so far so I can add this to my list of favourite sports!

I have been doing graffiti for nearly 15 years so this is something which accompanies me wherever I go. Some years ago I started experimenting a little bit further with letters and I'm very into calligraphy at the moment. I'm always happy to teach you some lettering skills or write your name in stylish letters!

This will be my second longer trip. I have been traveling in Sout East Asia for more than 3 months in 2012 and have lots of stories or travel advise in this part of the world if you are interested.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In summer 2013ish I hosted a friend I made during my travels in Cambodia. She is from Singapore and it was a great experience to show her my city. I was fascinated about her fascination about things which are common for me like a dog in a train, the dishwasher in the kitchen and freshness of the air.

I showed her around in Zurich, took her to a bbq with friends and explored the nice landscape around my place - all in all it was like a nice holiday for me at home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been traveling through South East Asia for more than three months and it has been the best time of my life so far. Traveling is freedom for me and makes me happy. I travelled two months with a friend of mine and a month alone in Vietnam - this combination was perfect for me.

After this trip I went to Sydney for a language stay and had so much fun with all the people I met there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a teacher and I like teaching everything I am able to teach ;)

I like cooking so I could teach you some of my cooking skills - especially asian and italian kitchen stuff :)

As I am Swiss I speak Swissgerman and it is always great fun to teach people from abroad some words or sentences in my mother tongue. I would like to learn the the basics of your mother tongue too!

I am a graffiti-artist since 2005 so I could show you how you can write your name in stylish letters. ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

--> At the moment I'm traveling..

(I can share a nice apartment with lots of plants and a cozy living room. There is enough space but only one sleeping opportunity which I consider as comfortable - the big couch in the living room. Although I know some people who would also be happy with the small couch in another room - so one person could sleep there if you travel with a friend. I don't have to work on Wednesday and Thursday at the moment so I'm free to show you around Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday or Sunday.)
