I am currently living in Vienna. I always thought I end up at a company as a programmer, however in the last months my goals have changed. Now I want to try and become a researcher.

About myself: I am easygoing, I eat nearly everything (I don't like raw tomatoes) and I enjoy meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and make friends all over the world, so that when I will be traveling in the future there are people I can visit in other countries. Couchsurfing is a great way to meet new people and share interesting experiences together.

Even though I would love to offer a couch to someone else, I don't have the space currently. Nevertheless, when I am living in a flat, with a free room, I will be happy to accept guests.

Regarding my previous experiences, I visited two different friends from Germany, which I only knew from the internet. Both meetings were really funny and we had a great time. I also met a cool Norwegian on my road trip through Norway via couch surfing.

Interests

Dancing:
I started swing dancing half a year ago and I really fell in love with it.
Currently I can dance lindy hop and a bit of charleston and shag.

Cooking:
I enjoy exploring new ingredients and trying different combinations of spices. I am always very interested in authentic food regarding to a region or a cuisine.

Chess:
I like playing chess a lot, but I am not a very good player. ^^'

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Basically everything but folkmusic and hiphop/rap and most electronic music.
I like variety more than repetition.
My current favorite is Swing Jazz, because I started Swing dancing.

Movies:
I haven't watched a lot of movies and no movie comes to mind if I need to pick a favorite.

Books:
My favorite authors are Terry Pratchett, Kurt Vonnegut, Philip K. Dick
I am currently reading the Discworld novels (20/40).
Favorites from these authors were: Small gods by Pratchett, Cat's Cradle by Vonnegut and A darkly Scanner by PKD

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Over one summer I did a Parachuting Course and I jumped a total of 25 times.

I did a road trip through Norway.
