I am a passionate and an analytical person, I like contradictions if they are conducive to personal growth. I seek intimate and profound connections but I'm also thrilled by transient encounters and I feel excited whenever I find any of those separately or in any combination. I sometimes feel lonely, no matter how sociable I can be. That's part of me and I have come to terms with that.
....I am a very curious person and I like to understand how societies have come up with strategies to survive, reproduce, innovate or change.

I am interested in the arts, cinema and photography more specifically but also sociology,philosophy, history, politics and religion. One of my favorite movies is "in the mood for love" by Wong Kar-Wai. I am a film festival groupie and I try to attend the Berlin and the Locarno film festivals every year. I may go to Sundance in 2017.

I will be on sabbatical next year (2018) and I am planning to do some research on political mobilization of migrants in social movements. I will most likely use CS more often....
