On Erasmus / writing my MA thesis

ABOUT ME

It's always pretty difficult to make a portrait of yourself: you can fear to be too humble (or more probably not humble at all...), to say something very trivial (e.g. to say the same things any other couchsurfer may say like "I am nice, I like to meet people"... who sounds a bit too obvious to worth being written, don't you think so?).

Personally, I will only say about myself that I am a quite strong-willed guy, not a great fan of "hakuna matata all the time" as I don't like to take the life not seriously at all. No, I'm not such a nerdy pain-in-the-ass, just a little bit; I've did some madness in my life, just I'm trying to become a kinda serious guy with a work and stuff like that...

Well, there is at least ONE good thing that have been told about me and I think very appropriate: I'm a curios guy, like to find out a lot of "why?".

I travel and meet people, even just for a coffee or a beer; though now I can't, in the future (= when I'll have an home of my own) I'll be glad to host someone

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met persons in other countries and they took me and my friends around the town.

Interests

I study philosophy and I love my studies; nowadays I'm very involved in philosophy and sociology of science, but I have eccentric multidisciplinar interest as I'm a curios guy.
I'll like to make studying my job (=I'll like to have a career in the universities, everywhere but in Italy). I've been involved in university politics and I'm still interested in making my intellectual life worth for some social purpose.

In my spare time I enjoy a litlle bit of nerding (i.e. playing videogames, roleplaying...), and once I used to act, since I've had a kind of "artistic blackout". Hope it stops!

I also travel quite often, trying not to be too much a strereotypical toturist but to catch the very life of place I see by visiting unnoticed places in improbable moments.

Music, Movies, and Books

Listen too frew music (but I should listen more! any hint is welcome), but I love prog rock.

In the latter time I've enjoyed George Martin's "A song of Ice and Fire" Saga. I also read many serious and boring books about philosophy, sociology of science ...
