About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Tour Australia's Southeast capitals & meet people
ABOUT ME
I read widely and my friends find me interesting to talk to. One of them remarked recently I have a pleasant, soothing voice, as well.
I enjoy being a handy-man, fixing computers, doing research, repairing stuff around the house. I am not adverse to doing the dishes.
My mother has a rain forest property near Pomona, Sunshine Coast. I go for walks at night with a torch, and am rewarded with many interesting creatures. I love all animals, including spiders, snakes and the like.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't dwell on the past -- it cannot be changed.
Don't agonize over the future -- it has so many possibilities, so enjoy the unexpected.
I can only act today, and enjoy what I have now.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just got my first surfing date confirmed. Attended my first CS meet-up. (in Brisbane)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The only couches I slept on belonged to friends that I knew quite well. Come 13 February, that will change!
Interests
I love comic books, computer games, strange & 'difficult' movies. I read mostly non-fiction books, particularly about philosophy, science and the arts. I'm a museum/art gallery buff.
I am also interested in politics.
