ABOUT ME

Hi everyone, my name is Marco. I'm a traveling Chef and foodie that has gone from New York to California and back again. I have joined couchsurfing because i love to travel and meeting new people! and as i said in my mission it is to live!! meet all kinds of people, taste different styles of food, feel the rhythm of different places, see the different beauties nature has to offer and to learn and grow on the way. i find comfort in never fully having a plan but always having a burning drive for living life and learning what it has to offer. my biggest passions are cooking, music, farming, farm fresh food, hiking, backpacking, creative skills like wood and ice carving, bush craft, and the whole idea of true sustainability. I feel i have learned enough to know that i still have a lot to learn.

I lived in Yosemite National Park for 6 months sleeping in a canvas tent with a roommate and working at the Ahwahnee Hotel and drove from Coast to Coast to get there. one of the best times of my life!
