About Me

Hello! My name is Marco, and I am a 23 years old boy from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am travelling with my girlfriend through Europe. Right now we are at France and planning to visit Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, Netherlands, Belgium.. Well actually wherever the wind will take us.
We've been together for 8 years now, we've just finished our studies, and we want to start a new adventure: travell around the world, trying to figure how big our planet is, meeting all kinds of people and cultures and sharing our own beautiful culture to the rest of you out there.
Estefania is an Art Teacher, recently graduated, and I am studying Psichology. We believe this is the best time to travell, because we are looking for a good place to live when we are 30, you could say we are looking for our place in the world! We are just starting in couchsurfing and in this beautiful journey. We are looking to meeting people and learning about them, what they do and the places they go.

We have a hut in Mendoza, Argentina, and we're hosting people there!! This is actually like our vacation home, because my father owns it, and he's offered to host people there, since he has travelled a lot around the world and still wants to meet people and host them the same as he has been hosted by others who might also host us! So, if you come to Argentina, and you come to Mendoza, you can stay there, you will meet my father!
You can see this beautiful hut I'm talking about in our pictures. My father, Eduardo, lives in Potrerrillos, Mendoza. He moved there from Buenos Aires in 2010. Eduardo is a musician and he's built 4 hut already, one of them being a little restaurant/bar in the mountains where he lives in. He's looking forward to meet you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to know as many places as we can, we want to meet different people, understand other cultures and points of view and share nice meals and conversations. We want to see the beauty around the world.

I personally believe, if you want to learn about other cultures, you have to go and talk to people, because THEY are the culture, not necessarily their statues or museums.

Interests

I am pretty much in love with every kind of art, I love music, visual arts, cinema, theater, good books and sweet coffee, chocolate, cats. I'd like to visit many museums and art fairs, go to rock concerts, parties, eat tasty food, ride bikes. I love taking photos and making home videos for me to watch in the future. I play different music instruments, mainly drums and piano.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Mostly rock (Muse, My Chemical Romance, The Rasmus, Radiohead ), electronic (Zomboy, Skrillex, Borgore, Flume), classical music (Chopin!!). I go to as many concerts as I can, it's a number one priority.

Movies: My all time favourite movie in the whole world is.. Moulin Rouge! But I believe I could watch and enjoy any movie that's put before my eyes. I love cinema in general. Every movie or video has something to say and there's always a way for us to intepret and understand the meaning.

I don't really read that much, apart from my career text books (ohh Freud!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen all my favourite bands live! Muse, 30 Seconds To Mars, The Offspring, The Rasmus, Avenged Sevenfold, Dream Theater, Placebo, Alejandro Sanz, Bunbury, and many MANY more!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you music, that's my thing, that's what I do! We can talk about humanity, emotions, life and death, love and hate, friends and family, art in general, and pretty much everything. I live to learn from people and hear what they have to say!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can have conversations, meals, go for walks, see the neighbourhood. I'd like to meet your friends and would like you to meet my friends. I can tell you about Argentina and we want to know about your country.
