ABOUT ME

I am an open-minded 28-year old PhD student living in Vienna :-).Im always interested in new things and people. I love sports, traveling, partying, going out into the nature and spending time with my friends.
I am a very optimistic guy and I am interested in getting to know new people and learning new stuff :-).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have a couchsurfing-experience yet. But I stayed often at a friends place when I traveled and also offered friends (of friends) to stay at my place.

Interests

In my free-time I do a lot of sports: I am regularly jogging in the woods and playing soccer. Moreover, I like to mountain bike in the surrounding area of Freiburg and to snowboard during the winter and to climb and so on… :-) Besides that, I love to spend time with my friends, to cook, to travel around the world (but I still have to see so many places……)
In addition to that, I like to go out and to take pictures with my recent acquirement, my SLR cam!!! YEAH! :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to alternative, indie and hiphop (mostly German) music in my free time. When I'm going out, I prefer at the moment electronic music.
Books I recently read were from: Sebastian Fitzek, Paul Auster, David Benioff, Andreas Eschbach, John Grisham...
I'm not a big movie watcher. But still I enjoy watching a good movie. ;-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled in South America during my studies with friends :-) It was a great experience and we did a lot of amazing things, as climbing the Huayna Potosí (6088m), exploring the jungle, seeing Machu Pichu…. Awesome trip!
