About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Being God!

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm a 31 years old guy from Rome, Italy. I have been here in Geneva, since April 2010, working as a software engineer.
I'm living with my great girlfriend, Martita! ; we are both from Rome, but actually we met in London!

I'm a talkative, curious person, who likes having fun, living easily, being quiet, happy and free together with as many people as possible.
I'm really open mind; I like discovering, thinking about how the people around me behave and live in their society, life.
It's quite rare to see me sad, so if you want to have a smile, get through to me!

PHILOSOPHY

"Two things awe me most, the starry sky above me and the moral law within me."

"If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been trying to partecipate at many events, meetings getting in touch with as many people as possible.
It is very interesting to listen to and grab "slices of life" from each person of the group.
I've introduced some guys one to this crazy world: nobody has complained yet :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really like huge meetings, where you can talk with hundreds of people: in those situations the world seems really to be all one even though everybody is so different.

Interests

Clubbing, visiting cities, museums, travelling, reading historical and mathematical books, watching football matches, walking in the night and chatting about everything.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like reading historical books, in which I find an historical background behind a nice plot or story.

I read many books about maths, philosophy and the contemporary life and society.

Best book? Les Misérables
Recently I've read about Fisher goes to war, about chess, Perilous Power (Chomsky), The shadow of the wind, Mussolini's Italy, Johnny the Partisan, Blindness (Saramago), World Without End, The pillars of the earth

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm one of the greatest eater of watermelon in the world!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm an IT expert, then I can help you to format your hard disk if you need!
I can cook for you Pasta!

Or I can talk about "Why Italian politics is going so bad".
I'm able to share my Roman dialects as well, but I would barter it with a foreign language :-)
Or I can explain you why Italian football is the best in the world.
