About Me

Born and grown in a small town in the North of Italy, then moved to a slightly bigger town, in the North of Italy.
Now travelling the world!
Currently based in Linz (Austria) where I've been since a few months, I work as a PhD student in Physics since a couple of years.
I am quiet, observer and open-minded in relationships with people.
In my free time I like hiking, playing guitar and, of course, travelling and looking for the wonders of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm member of CS since 2013, but I never seriously used it. I think it's time to give it a second chance ;)
Living now as a foreigner in Austria, I have not a chance to make a couch available at the moment (unfortunately), but I would love to meet new people, share moments and have fun!

Interests

I really like hiking, trekking, skiing and staying in the mountains. I'm in love with the Alps where I come from.
I also enjoy playing guitar (by heart, not at high level!) and listen to music or go to concerts. When travelling, I like to know about the culture of the places where I go, and to know how arts and history gave a shape to the things I see.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: from Pink Floyd to Iron Maiden. I love the rock from 60s-70s and many heavy metal bands. I know I live in the past..
Films: All-round. I love the technique of Tarantino, but I enjoy films from various authors with nice themes or plots.
Books: The Lord of the Rings has always been up in my rankings. I also enjoy classics and historical books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I drove 3000 km around the California lands and deserts. It's not so incredible, but it was fun!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a bit of English and share (very few but maybe appreciable) Italian cooking skills ;)
I wish to learn juggling, at a certain point.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Not to much actually, maybe some music and a couple of stories. But I'm in CS to meet new people, not actually looking for a free airbnb.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Austria, Italy, United Kingdom
