Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sometimes hotels are exactly what you need, but they are impersonal and as a tourist I prefer to meet people without any reception desk in between. I think western societies tend to isolate us a bit too much and Couchsurfing goes in the opposite direction. In my opinion it's one of the best ways to discover the distinctive traits of places and people.
I find it enriching!

Interests

Storytelling is my main hobby.
I think if they are written in the proper way, stories can be powerful mind medicines. I'm curious to hear about yours and would be glad to tell mine.
My current goal is to publish my first novel and I'm working on a hypertextual narrative game which I hope will be online soon.
I want to eat real food, listen to true music and experience one-of-a-kind moments.

Won a literary contest with a short novel inspired by my grandparents' experiences during the war and got published on a real paper book.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Even if I don't like it in particular, as Italian cooking is in my DNA. I can make a proper Carbonara (without cream!) and speak about the only rules we have in my crazy country: the Food Laws.
