About Me
What to say .... hello everyone! Hope everything fine.
I introduce myself:
My name is Marco Pipinato (Pitto), I am 24 year old, and I've just finished my studies in Political Science and Human Rights.
I am a very sociable and autonomous guy and I adapt myself in every situation. I really love travelling, that's the reason why I'm here on CS.
Last year I had the first free summer of my life, without work or studies, so I tought it was the right moment to leave Italy for a trip to Argentina. I got my backpack and I travelled more than 12000 km around Argentina and Chile.
As I was saing before, I recently finished my studies in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Padua, near Venice. This University gave me the opportunity to travel France and Spain.
But even before starting my studies I spent time of my life abroad: I lived 3 years in Kenya (when I was a child), I was working for a whole year with an Humanitarian NGO in Kosovo and the last experience was the Erasmus exchange (European exchange program for university students) in Spain for 6 months.
I have also lived in Georgia, Israel and England for few months.
In my life I have done various jobs; I worked as an educator in a childhood center and I was voulontiring as an assistent in a center for refugees.
But during the studies I also worked as a waiter so I could pay my university fees.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because during my year in Kosovo, my flatmate was registered in CS.... and during the year we spent in Prizren, we had the opportunity to host a lot of persons..... and I must say I had always great experiences.
It's even a nice way to spend some time with new people from all over the world, everyone with different a different story and a different vision of the meaning of traveling (and, of course, it's perfect for practicing English).
Interests
I was born in the middle of the mountains so every kind of sport that could be done in the mountains is for sure part of my interests. I skiied since I was 3; I love doing downhill and climbing.

I don't have a really big culture about cinema, but I love to finish my working/ studing day watching a film.
About Books, in my live I read mostly italian autors, and my favourites are Tiziano Terzani, Baricco, Michele Serra ecc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cycling from my hometown in Italy to Munich was the most amazing experience I've ever had (even because was the first time I was cycling for more than 2 km).
