I am Marcos, born in Madrid in the '89 and been living in England for the last 3 years.

I like learning anything about alternative ways of living and traveling and enjoying any chance I get to experience it. At the moment I am specially interested on nature more than cities, so I am on saving mode and as soon as I see the chance I will try to travel through some beautiful places. New Zealand and the Americas are my two main ideas so far, but who knows... for now I am really enjoying my life in Bristol, such an amazing city with lots to offer.

I am also a calisthenics enthusiast and like slacklining and bouldering every now and then. Would like to go hiking more often too.

At the moment I am on a plant based diet, although I don't judge those of you who eat animals, I have been doing for most of my life too. I also try to buy local and avoid supermarkets and big companies as much as I can. I am quite against food industry, but ironically I work in a cafe/bakery/restaurant so, you know... it's not that easy to be consequent sometimes.

Some people in Germany and the Netherlands hosted me when traveling with a friend. Ever since I really enjoyed giving a hand to other travelers. Hosted a few through trustroots and thought opening a CS account would help me to get to contact more people, for both hosting or being a guest.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love Richard Linklater films, especially Waking Life. I also like others such as... watch a movie with me and find it out!

At the moment I'm reading some poetry from Bukowski and "The selfish gene" by Richard Hawkins. I like to read books that bring new points of view about life. I like divulgation more than novels. And I'm a really slow reader, I take my time with every book.

Music... such a wide field... I guess different kinds of music are for different moments and situations, but I am recently listening to bands/artists like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Morphine, The heavy, The Dead Weather... Pixies, Rodriguez... Massive Attack, Morcheeba, Gramatik, Nicolas Jaar... McFerrin and Marley, of course... some spanish hip hop like Nirban and Flowklorikos... well, you get the idea. Just don't play reggeton and we will get along fine.

I think life is an educational experience itself... you are out there talking about stuff and when somebody shares any of your interests there is an exchange of information, experiences, ideas...

I studied education and I really really think that western educational systems need a new approach if humankind is to evolve.

I would like to learn more about alternative ways of living. I can teach you how to make your own vegetable milk, soap and toothpaste. Would like to learn more about growing my own veggies and do some voluteering in farms.

I can also share knowledge on fitness and of course I would like to learn more about it.
