About Me

Ciao, I'm Marcos.
I'm a architecture student currently studying for a year in Rome and traveling Italy.
I grew up in the Black Forest and study in Stuttgart. So I spent most of my time in Germany. Anyways I also have a second home: A little village in Aragon (Spain) where my father comes from.

Being proud of my origin and having a lot of respect for foreign cultures I don't care too mutch about country-borders. I enjoy the privilege of being able to travel and wish for all human beings to have the same luck. Until then I'll have to make my own contribution and work towards that future.

I'm 21 years old and there's one year left to finish my Bachelor. But I'm not in a hurry and that's why I have to take pauses now and then from the everyday life (architects will feel me) and go traveling. I'm very interested in cultures in general and want to get to know our planet and universe. I love arts and music and mostly people. So if you're an open minded Freigeist, contact me and I'm pretty sure we'll make some good memories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The concept of this website is awesome. I've just even started. But I'm sure to find a whole bunch of like-minded people and make new interesting friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i once jumped out of a plane and thought it was kind of boring (except for the panorama) so i won't write it down here lol. A good friend of mine (which I miss a lot) once resumed it pretty good: It's not important what you're doing and where you're doing it as long as you are in good company.

So that's it. My greatest experiences are my friends all over the planet:
-my people i grew up with in the Murgtal #lappen
-my friends in Spain, with which I never miss a Fiesta #LM
-my architecture friends from all over the world #9.04
-my Erasmus family #cargo

What I Can Share with Hosts

deep conversations and good food.

I don't like smalltalk a lot. We can't change the weather. So let's talk better about arts, music and philosophy .
Also I love eating and cooking. And I'm always aware to find some new favorite food. So let me cook you something I learned or give me a new recipe for my collection
