ABOUT ME

Hey hey,
Overall I strongly tend to be an alert and lively guy who tries not to take things to serious. Some people say I'm fun, but actually , I don't know what to think about this. But surely I pretty much like to fool around and I'm always in for a sarcastic conversation.
When it comes to travelling I prefer having an authentic view into a country's daily life over a hotel's swimming pool. I really love to get in touch with people and foreign cultures.
During my studies a few years ago I discovered travelling to be something that I'm falling for. I also tried hitchhiking with a good friend of mine and it were some really great experiences. It's such a nice way to get in touch with the locals and learn about their lives and culture.
Additionally I had some occassions to couchsurf and found out it's the right thing to combine with travelling since it’s making it a lot better in so many ways. I’ve met so many great people all around the globe and had a lot of fun :-) I still enjoy to keep close contact with some of them. I did some amazing trips to central america, Asia, Persia and the Indian subcontinent and a lot of places within Europe.
Unfortunately I only had few occasions to pay back hospitality and host myself, since I live in a shared apartment with my roommates not feeling comfortable with couchsurfing...but it’s on my list... sorry for that

It's great to see the city or landscape through a local's eye and get in touch with the "real life" there. It's not about spending a fancy time in a hotel but getting in touch with the real people and making friends all over the world.

Interests

I love doing sports and being active. Additionally I like visiting cities and rural areas, getting in touch with people I don't know and have fun in conversations. I also do like being outside in the nature, living the live and being curious on everything that's new

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stayed with nomads in the deserts of Persia
Big hitchhiking tour throughout all eastern europe for about almost 8000 km
Hiked up some summits.
Swam with sea turtles.
