ABOUT ME

I prefer others to describe myself, since i believe that’s more accurate. Nevertheless I could say curiosity is an inherent part of me. I will always rather knowing than just believing, even if truth hurts, threatens or it implies a change in the way we experiment reality.

I deeply believe that truth lies more in the questions we ask, rather than in the answers we get.

I trust my intuition and it rarely makes mistakes, the mistakes I´ve made were on my own and happened when I didn`t pay enough attention to my intuition. Shit happens :S

Anyway, people say I’m smart, creative, trustworthy, fun, and caring, but sometimes I think they may be wrong, so I leave that judgment for yourself.

I was born in Mexico City and have been living in different cities in the US, México and Spain since 2000, just following my intuition, opportunities and my academic, artistic, social and personal curiosity, which had opened me up to a completely different world in which nationality, class, race, gender, origin, etc. tend to become less important when it comes to affinity, feelings and relations. Rather, I´ve built significant relations in profound shared views of the world and attitudes towards other people´s lives, problems, hopes and dreams, which can always create beautiful new relations that challenge the traditional script that capitalist life has prepared for all of us.

After 10 years moving around I'm back to my home city only to discover it has become a place where I feel as foreigner. After 2 years I’m still trying to re-adapt to it but I’m conscious that that will probably never happen, and if it doesn´t, I could go back to Barcelona or look for a new city to settle down for a while. Many things can happen, we’ll see.

PHILOSOPHY

Such a profound question to be well written in a profile page, but basically i could say that i'm an eternal freedom seeker and fighter that believes that the world and the people would only change through the interaction of local and global de-monetarized acivities, and with the use of smarter and friendlier technologies that serve to empower people as a free social loving organism.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I’ve never couch surfed through this network and I would love it. Some close friends host and couchsurf. Once in Berlin I stayed in a shared couchsurfers apartment where a friend of mine was living. There I got the chance to know couchsurfing and i met awesome people from all over. Thats what brought me here in the forst place.

Interests

I enjoy culture in many ways: talking to strangers, reading, wandering the world, listening and sometimes making music, watching films, documenting reality and of course, travelling.

Im involved in the defense of human rights and in cyberactivism. I´m always seeking for new ways to socialize for building socio-political actions that challenge and change the emptiness and the fate of the life that corporate organizations have planned for us all.

I can teach the languages i speak and most of the things i've learned. I can help you building social networks, designing a research project, making and editing a video, cooking some mexican food and probably other things i know that you dont.
