About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Digital Nomad life
Explore 50 Countries until Age of 40
Freedom, independence

ABOUT ME

My Current Project (one of many):
https://www.pituabrasil.de/

My YouTube Travel Channel:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGqfrLCd6gMdfT_Tmckg3jg?view_as=subscriber

I love to meet strangers and local people, I love to be a stranger and learn how to adapt so that I can't be seen as a stranger anymore. Why? Because feeling deeply involved in local cultures makes the difference between tourist and traveler.

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/pituabrasil/

sometimes easygoing, sometimes not older than 3, sometimes freaky, sometimes bottom-deep, but always open to new stuff and also sometimes waiting until it is beer-o-clock.

PHILOSOPHY

I am not afraid handling busy times

Independence can be everywhere

I go far for a bite of adrinaline and I stay calm for a bit of silence.

I am looking for beautyful people that shine as we go along.

Try to interpret what i see on my way back home....wherever that might be

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participated since 2011, when there was no fee to enter the comunity. My trust in the people of this world is bigger than most people find apropriate, hahah.
I try to help whenever I can. Just ask me :)
I love to surf in unknown places to check out the local's "secrets"
Guess I am on the Surfer side, but I also hosted some interesting people.
Cooking is always interesting to me. I will share and apreciate dishes from all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Spain has shown: CS is one of the best inventions of mankind. Some deep friendships developed from backpacking with Couchsurfing...until today.
Before I went to Spain for three Months I didn't know I am a follower of the Slow Food movement. I learned how to make my own bread and how to do most of my mom's roast dishes.

I apreciate every kind of hospitality, even if its just the advice not to flash around my camera in front of a liquor store at 4am in Mancora, Peru.

It is just a warm feeling when you know you literally will meet wonderfull people all over the world. Never had really bad experiences....some strange ones hahha, yes,....But they make our trips so special don't they?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The kid in my head becomes old by time...settle down? I am working on it :) My brazilian girlfriend helps me with that :)

In my work as a travel planner for brazil-trips I organised big family come-togethers: adopted kid born in brazil and raised in the netherlands visits its real family in the brazilian rainforest with its family from the netherlands. That is massive content for books, my friends.

I swam with piranhas in the amazon river, in the pantanal I fished, grilled and ate them. It took me 3 days to reach the annapurna base camp on 4200m and only one day to reach the pan del azucar mountain 5300m in colombia.

I ate cooked snails at the pitch where Luis Figo used to train as a kid in Lisbon.

Bungee jumps, skydives, yes done them. Months and years of backpacking.

I became runner up with the football team in the coup of my village in germany...after the first match our coach said that if we win the next one, we would get a beer for free. Since that moment noone apart from the winners could stop us :)

With my band (I played bass in progressive metal bands) I won a local competition for technical excellence...the guitar fightclub.
