About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Understand more about me and life. Become the best version of me. Be kind and support others when they wish!

ABOUT ME

Hi!
I am positive and very curious. I am doing a PhD in Sydney, where I live since last September 2018. The topic of my research is the placebo effect, which is how our mind influences our health and well.being. In the last years I have been learning how to listen to myself and be happier. .
I love to share personal experience and connect with others, no matter how different we can be! I like to talk about almost everything, discover new things and new ways of thinking. Usually, people say that I am a very kind and gentle soul. I consider being hosted an honour and I highly respect my hosts, their lifestyle and rituals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have joined Couchsurfing years ago because a friend of mine suggests me to. I have had only one experience so far (thanks Bart!) and the Coronavirus happened.
I think sharing other people's experiences is what makes travelling even more enriching.

Interests

I have studied several things and worked in different roles. I have lived for short times in Portugal, Thailand, Mozambique, US, Belgium, and now Australia. I definitely like to travel.
I like listening to music and watching movies, playing basketball, football, volleyball, and many other sports.
I practice meditation, yoga, and other practices, even though my practice is not as constant as I would like it to be.
I never say no to a good piece of dark chocolate and a cup of green tea (especially if it is matcha).
As an Italian, I claim I can cook (I still have to understand if people around me agree though).
