PHILOSOPHY

somewhere i have never traveled ...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

my super comfy couch was open until Oct 2011. now traveling!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

been hosting a few people since i started, really cool people, learned about my own city from them, a new perspective, loved it! surfed only two couches so far, in Berlin and Boston only, but i am not limited to cities beginning with a B :P

Interests

increasingly other activities in short: yoga(s), tango, contact improv, taiji, long walks/bike rides, thai & oil massage, Tulayoga (deep flying massage), bodywork & movement arts in general, meditation. and to sustain all that, eat and cook/bake delicious food. as local & as possible (bio as we say in europe). throughout the years i am trying to be more and more 'eco' rather than just 'bio' = buy more local and naked food. oh and another interest is of course my former job, studying human bio-cultural evolution,.. well now traveling and teaching (mostly acro)yoga is a continuation of that.

Music, Movies, and Books

gee i should write my biography some day. in short, those days i am quite hooked with tango, jazz, and some electronic music (for working in particular). haven't seem many movies lately because original versions are so scarce where i live. so had to go to paris to see Burn After Reading, a riot! as for the reading i didn't burn, i am currently in the middle of The Power of Now, Light on Yoga (will i ever finish it?), The first Americans, pleistocene colonization of the new word (academic), Urban Tantra, and Improve your vision without glasses or contact lenses. No i am not a geek :)
2012 movie update: Café de Flore

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- have grown my own kombucha (a living delicacy from outer space)
- jumped from an airplane. i mean a flying airplane.
- several 10 day fasting and 10 day meditation. no, not at the same time :P
- feel like i keep getting younger as i grow old. uh.

Teach, Learn, Share

i teach yoga/acroyoga, and can give thai massage and tulayoga (floating in bliss on my hands and feet:). have taught anthropology, french and math, love to share experiences, opinions and dreams,..

What I Can Share with Hosts

- i can teach you French and German, and have a conversation in Spanish.
- i can give you an amazing therapeutic Thai massage, or a Tulayoga treatment.
- i can fly you! (yes, really, that's my job:)
