About Me

It is hard to tell others about yourself, isnt it?!

but hey, lets start with a few important points of my life, which made the person who i am now ...
I went to the secondary school, thought then going to a highschool is the best decision, which was a mistake, because
at this time I wanted to become a cook. I did my highschool degree with focus on IT. After that I went to uni and
studied Busniess Administration and Engineering. Now I have a Master Degree in Engineering and still want to become a
cook. Anyway ...
Basically I am interested in a lot of different things: cooking, sports, music, garden work, mecahnical work aso. I
did a lot of different sports. As a normal boy I started with football but after a certain time it was borring. Then
I played a couple of years basketball. I am not the tallest person with my 173cm and I changed school, so I started
then paying (too much) attention in programming things on my computer. Besides this I did K1 fighting for 2 years. Good
experience. All this made me open minded and I can deal with nearly every kind of a person.
My mates say that I am funny. Well, it is hard to say that you are funny. But I have the gift, to make people smile or
even laugh. Making jokes is cool. Most important thing is that you can make jokes about yourself and laugh about
yourself.
I like to talk about economics, political stuff, philosophy and history.
Pretty sure that I forgot something, but hey, no one is perfect ;)

Cheers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people with different attitudes, characteristics and world views. Furthermore its the best way to learn something about culture.

Interests

I have a lot of different interests. For myself my most important interest is music. I play drums and a bit guitar. Every time music is playing wherever I am. Is there no music something is wrong. Its like I need music to life!
Besides this I like to edit videos and pics. Within these I am free and can create basically my own world in pictures. Love it
Furthermore I like to read. There is no special kind of books I liked to read but I prefere Fantasy, true stories about person and political stuff.
Also I like to work on my small farm. Sounds crazy I know, but some try to relax after they finished work, I come home and go on with the work.

Music, Movies, and Books

Its the same with my interest *lol*
I like to listen to bands like Armon Amarth but on the other side I like orchestra and musicals. Depends on my mood. But the best thing in the world is piano music. Love it so much. Even so I cant play it.
But if i have to choose my favorite band it is "the gaslight anthems"
Of course I like Hollywood movies. But I also like to watch movie far away from the mainstream. For example Scandinavian movies, French movies. There are probably 1000 of good movies which were not produced in Hollywood. Unfortunately hard to find. To my favorites belong all James Bond movies, Lord of the rings, blue is a warm color, notorious, the notebook ...
Besides movies I am really into documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I thing one of the best things was at the Milford Sound (New Zealand) when a whale jumps out of the water directly in front of our boat. This was amazing. Besides this, the stars in Tekapo and lake Pukaki (both New Zealand).
Last but not least: I can say, that I made my dream come true: working on a farm in Australia, travel in a camper van through whole New Zealand.
