Hi,
I'm Marcus =). Currently I want to discover the world together with my girlfriend as we both finished school this year and need a break! We're 20&21 years old and both originate from Germany. I am actually half German, quarter Austrian and quarter British (so beware of my black humour that I got from my dad :d). I also have relatives in the UK and a cousin in New Zealand :).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is fun, however hostels or hotels are often too expensive on the long term especially if you're a backpacker. Also you're kind of disconnected to the real culture of the country you're staying in as you are surrounded by strangers mostly.

Interests

I'm a very sporty guy that likes to keep active in his free time. I like to do calisthenics and go hiking but I also enjoy swimming and relaxing at the beach or lying drop dead in the water pretending to snorkel (I'd like to write that I enjoy surfing but I can't do it yet :D). Also I am not very fond of drinking and smoking, I prefer concerts or festivals

I enjoy music from many genres like rock, pop( not the shitty charts pop tho), metal (not the permanent screaming metal tho ;)), electro, house etc.

I lived like a hippie in a nomad tent when I was in Ibiza with my girlfriend.

I can teach you some basic things about nutrition and physical exercise with your own bodyweight.
I'd like to learn to play the ukulele like Israel Kamakawiwo'ole ;D and surfing :).
