My name is Marcus and I am a lover of God and people. I am a native English speaker who has lived all over the U.S. Massachusetts, Florida, Colorado, Oregon, Texas! And along the way I aquired a taste for discovering people journeys and stories, I love diverse cultures and I believe every nation is incredibly valuable in its uniqueness. A good friend told me, just as flowers in different countries give a unique beauty, so do different peoples. And I wanted to appreciate them. But specially my heart is stirred towards Japan. Ever since I was 15 I would sing a long Japanese songs as I was watching the opening songs to Anime, immitating ninja moves. I never thought I'd move there though. This marks a milestone for a legacy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm moving to Japan because I am complled by my love and dreams for Japan. I see myself living the rest in Japan. However, I'm taking a big leap of faith, going with a just over a thousand (maybe haha) but I believe God will provide, I hope to go with more, but if not I will still go!

With all that said, I'm would like to cut back cost as much as possible, but I still desire to meet people, and engage he culture. Couch surfing stimulates both.

So I'd love to meet you! I plan on coming on the 31. And I want to see the first sunrise in Japan on the mountain. I'm excited to explore the culture my heart grew up in.
