Hey!

My name is Marcus and I'm from Northern Virginia. I've lived in Atlanta proper for two years and in Georgia for half my life. I'm a huge Atlanta local and love everything to do with this city.

I spend most of my time cycling atlanta, trying new beer and restaurants, and backpacking in the North Georgia/North Carolina mountains. I also have a red Doberman that usually tags along.

I also started a community based company that's put on local music and art shows once a month to bring people together and appreciate local art.

My roommate, Jacob, and I are very passionate about hearing people's stories and travel experiences as we believe that's the best way to develop our world view and meet new friends all over the world. We also love having conversations regarding spirituality and mindfulness practices. By all means though, don't feel obligated to send me a long message regarding these topics as we respect that not everyone is comfortable with this. We're totally cool with just sitting down and listening to some tunes over a glass of wine and chatting about your favorite travel spot or what your aspirations are. We want to be a part of your adventure and help you get to where you want to be.

Jacob and I recently started a project called 'The World from a Couch' where we feature people that stay with us and people that we stay with all over the world. ***My home is not walking distance from a grocery/market or the city center. However, we are only 2miles awhile from great bars/pubs/restaurants. Uber/Lyft is pretty cheap to get around so you won't spend that much on transportation. MARTA bus stop in right in front of my house but I've never used it.***
