I've been teaching English in Hanoi for the last 9 months, and now I'm travelling around Japan with my partner Ruth. I'm interested in hiking, cycling, motorbiking and exploring.

At home in the UK I have a cat called Legolas. He has three legs and is very muscular. I love him.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I'm travelling CS is a really good way to meet local people, and at home it's a nice way to meet people you otherwise wouldn't.

And I'm hoping to see another side to Japanese culture and life, and get an opportunity to practise my Japanese!
