About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Best summer ever: Ziplining + climbing Disneyland's Matterhorn
ABOUT ME
I'm a recent ucla biology graduate with a passion for the outdoors and big adventures. In my spare time, you'll usually find me deep in the wilderness climbing rocks big and small, but when time is more of a luxury you might find me working at the ucla rock wall/ropes course or yodeling from the top of the mighty Matterhorn at Disneyland anaheim.
I love relaxing with friends, telling stories and making inappropriate jokes over good beer.
PHILOSOPHY
"Life is not about finding oneself, but creating oneself." -George Bernard Shaw. I'm actively trying to become the nicest, most well-rounded person I can possibly be while having as much fun as possible along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
After all of the incredible hospitality I received from strangers in Europe, I'm back and ready to return the favor!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Mostly surfing, all great experiences. People really open up their homes to complete strangers, and they made my trip a resounding success!
Interests
I love rock climbing (trad and bouldering mostly), playing tennis and golf, playing music, and finishing off a long adventure filled day over delicious beer with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Most movies and music (easily entertained), favorites would be comedy, sci-fi, action/ motown, classic rock, indie and hip-hop.
I love to read, used to be into mostly fantasy like LOTR, wheel of time, dune, now enjoying classics like dostoyevsky, musashi, joyce, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Topping out a snow-covered halfdome in yosemite in may and finding ourselves alone on the summit, or topping out the chief in squamish with my 72-year old professor john hughes and his son-in-law (he started climbing at 68 and it was his first time!)
Teach, Learn, Share
Lots of rock climbing hard skills like knots and anchor building, or I can teach the basics on a number of instruments like piano, trumpet, guitar, drums, recorder, penny whistle, marimba..
Countries I’ve Visited
Belize, Canada, France, Italy, United States
