CURRENT MISSION?
Travel ALL the world. Twice! After 10 years at the university I am finally have an income which allows me to see the world and meet new people.

ABOUT ME?
I'm an open minded, humorous guy who loves to travel the world and learn more about other people. I worked as a photographer for a university magazine, volunteered for the Pirate Party in Germany and studied computer science at the Rostock University. I lived 13 years in an apartment-sharing community and I loved it. At the moment I work for Deutsche Bahn, Germanys main Railways company, in Frankfurt.

PHILOSOPHY
I don't like to plan to much of my trips. Instead I like to go where my heart and my senses leads me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Always gread! I liked the open and supportive mindset of both, hosts and surfs I met. In the upcoming month I will start to host at my place to, since I moved in a apartment which allows this :). For now only surfed other couches but this worked out so well, every time.

I'm interests in practically every thing. Really. I am curious and interested in people and things which sounds me. I work also as a professional photographer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movie soundtrack due to the extra effort the creates invested to select music rich of emotions to support the scenes and the move plot in particular.

I love movies with a decent plot, good actors AND good camera work! There are many of them, so the list of Stanley Kubrick, Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Tilda Swinton and Morgan Freeman is a good starting point.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two things related to traveling: A road trip through 5 countries in a single day and travel south India by train and bus for 3 weeks on my own.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the german language and some special things of the culture. I can teach you also how to take better travel pictures with your mobile phone or your camera and maybe I can fix your computer problems. ;-)
