In Canada. In Victoria , BC. Hoping to see/experience as much of the west coast of Canada as I can, hoping to meet cool (Canadian or otherwise) people to reveal it to me. I have some real cool Couchsurfing hosts. Hope to meet more!

ABOUT ME

I am an easygoing Irish guy who is travelling soon to Canada. I fly into Vancouver and will probably base myself here or around BC. I have been travelling since January and the funds are low so hope to see and do as much as i can on the west coast before the monetary situation forces me back to the auld sod. I would like to meet cool people who can put me up on their couch for a night or 2 and show me around their city or town. I will feed and water myself.
I think you can get a totally different perspective on a city/town/place from someone who lives there. They can take you off the beaten track to cool places not in the Lonely Plonker. I am new to Couchsurfing Hopefully I will be able to put people up on my couch when I get back to Ireland but that all depends on what happens when I get back.

I have put people up on my couch before but usually they were someone I knew or were friends of friends. I suppose couchsurfing is the same, only on a global level.
