About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the world on two wheels or one.

ABOUT ME

I just recently moved back to Chicago for an office job after having been a bicycle mechanic for the last 4 years. I'm 24 years old, and I really like to explore both urban and natural environments. I work as a proofing editor out in Morton grove, and I live just southeast of Humboldt Park. I love to read and to watch movies, and I occasionally have time to play video games. I just graduated with a degree in English/Spanish Business and Translation, and I am currently looking for my foot in the door to get back into the outdoor industry.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to meet people and connect. I think that throughout all of the differences that I can have with someone, it is still possible to find a common ground.

Interests

I am an avid cyclist, and I often travel for different cycling events. I'm a huge fan of pinball and make an effort to play it whenever I'm traveling. I also love to go to concerts to hear new music, and I love the feeling of comradery that a music festival provides.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big fan of foreign films and dramas, although comedy has its place in my heart.
I love to listen to Shoegaze and Lo-Fi music, but I am the kind of person who likes various artists from most genres as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just recently traveled back to my father's birthplace of Havana Cuba to meet the family that stayed when he left 57 years ago.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to help travelers with any problems or questions that they have about bicycles. I also am more than happy to help people get started on a unicycle, and have one that can be borrowed!

Countries I’ve Visited

Cuba, Japan, Mexico
