I'm a person who is curious about a lot in life. Maybe not the coolest person as I might come off as a bit nerdy. I´m a person who is up to almost anything when it comes to being in the outdoors. Recently I have become inspired to just say yes to a lot of things, even though my first thought might be that it can get uncomfortable. I sometimes realize that i have too many hobbies. My latest one is to grow fruit crops that are not at all common in this area of the world.

I went on a bike trip through the European alps during the spring of 2023 where i learned about couchsurfing. I had an account with my ex where we stayed with a lot of people, both through couchsurfing and also through other apps that got us closer to the people and communities where we travelled. The hosts and people that we met were so friendly and welcoming. Before the trips during 2023 in the Alps, Japan and New Zealand i was not expecting that staying with/meeting people would be such a big and memorable part of the trips. I still want to stay with people while travelling, but now I also want to host and give back in the same way as everyone did for us. So to be able to do that I have started my own account.

I wont be travelling in the near future, therefore I'm really excited to host people. To let the world come to my home instead of me going out in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to learn to know new people, make new friends. I want to learn more about other cultures and societies. Learn about food from different parts of the world. In the same way i also want to share my experience in these areas.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly read biographies, books about history, sport or books by my favorite Japanese author. When it comes to movies I can watch basically anything, but I'm mostly interested in movies based on real life stories. I mostly listen to music from the '60s till the '80s and some swedish singer-songwriters from recent times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycled 2 500 km through the Alps with a total elevation climb of around 22 000 meters.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking for or with someone. Company with nice talks and sharing of experiences from home or from travelling. Maybe an adventure in the outdoors together.
