About Me

ABOUT ME

I am Marcus from Hongkong and this year I was an exchange student studying in Örebro last year. A christian ;)
I love the nature so much and talk with people from different cultures. But I don't like drinking and parties, but instead cooking Cantonese dinner is my favourite! Welcome to come and taste my food together : )

PHILOSOPHY

Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. (Bible: Psalm 126:5) : )
Travelling is a lesson that we can never take in the school.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I got my first couch surfing experience in Russia, while the host treated me like her best friend. I have also tried to surf in Lithuania, Netherlands, Latvia and Denmark! Met nice hosts with wonderful experiences.

And I have hosted one Hong Kong boy and one Korean girl when I was studying in Sweden. My home in Hong Kong is too small...hopefully will host new friends soon.

Interests

Cooking. I enjoy cooking some local Cantonese cuisines : ) Please don't mind to use your kitchen if you would like to taste something traditional! haha

Going to the nature. Every time when I am travelling the best option to do is to climb up any hills nearby and have a view on the city : )

Travelling!! : )

But I don't like parties and drinking. But just chatting and playing are really fun!

Teach, Learn, Share

~ Language

Every time when I go to some other countries, the most interesting thing is to try to understand the languages. Don't hesitate to teach me your own language even one of two phases. I enjoy it so much.

~Cooking
Don't mind if I would stay in the kitchen and see what you are cooking. I believe that the cuisines can represent one culture so I would be interesting to learn one dish from any country : )
