I grew up near Sylvan Lake and moved to Montreal as soon as I turned 18. I lived there for a few years, studied Industrial Design in college and then moved back to Alberta and started an apprenticeship as an Electrician.
I lived in Drumheller for 8 years and am now living in Red Deer. I hope to one day travel to Central and South America, but in the meantime I get around on my bike and am learning web design.
I love art, science, history and literature and am an avid reader and audiobooker.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I read Nassim Nicholas Taleb's "Antifragile" and Steven Johnson's "Where Good Ideas Come From" and was moved to try to include more random interactions with people in my life. Some of the best interactions I've had in my life have been when I've been open to chance interactions with strangers or near strangers, and many of those people are still my friends today.

What I Can Share with Hosts

PDF books, audiobooks; I'm usually up for arts and crafts and I'm a tradesperson so I'm pretty handy with minor house repairs if there are tools and supplies around.
