ABOUT ME

After studying and a few years working I headed to the Rocky Mountains and made Banff my home for 6 years. I came for the scenery and loved every minute of it and the atmosphere of life in the mountains. I road tripped around the eastern provinces in 2010 but otherwise spent my time in the Rockies. I moved back to Australia in 2015 and after spending a year in the Australian ski fields I moved to our nations capital for a short while until I found employment back in the agricultural industry. I moved to Kangaroo Island in 2016 and enjoy the laid back life style of the island, their is quite a bit of tourism but below that a strong agricultural focus and great community.
I enjoy catching up with friends, seeing amazing scenery, hiking, skiing, kayaking and generally enjoying life. I love the diversity of people that I encounter travelling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS at the start of my Canada east coast trip and CSed most of that trip and loved it. I have met some amazing people and had a lot of fun doing so. I have now settled somewhere I can host and return the goodwill I have received in my travels

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love it I have met and spent time with some great people, both surfing and hosting.

Music- I'll listen to most things. I like country and don't like techno.
Movies - lots, must admit I like hopeless rom coms, enjoy the Marvel movies, Star Wars, Star Trek and similar.
Books- enjoy reading fantasy, Lord of the Rings, game of thrones (read them before the show) David Eddings, Ian Irvine. Also starting to like a bit more variety, historical related books, true stories, fiction
