Since summer 2018 I am on a round the world trip and I am enjoying every day of it. I am so greatful for all the amazing people I met and the wonderful places I saw and I hope to go on for some time.
I would consider myself an open minded and empathetic person. I believe Couchsurfing is a great way of getting to know a little bit about (everyday) life in a country even in a short time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What I like best about couchsurfing is that you get a chance to talk about life and politics with people you would otherwise never meet. Together with my ex-boyfriend, I already hosted several couchsurfers at our place. It has always been experience to hear the different stories, our couchsurfing guests share. Amongst others, this is why I am a great fan of the whole idea of couchsurfing!

Interests

I like baking, cooking, trying new food and foreign dishes, a good wine and interesting conversation. I also like to go kayaking, swimming, and hiking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Experiencing the Boat Burning Festival in Donggang, swimming with turtles on Turtle Island and riding into the sunset on a scooter in Taiwan. Walking on the Great Wall of China. Working in a hostel on an island in Thailand. My first dive. Swimming with whale sharks. Seeing a leopard in the wild.
