ABOUT ME

My name is Mareike or Maggie and I am a sportstudent from Cologne in Germany. My affection for travelling started in the US, when I was an exchange student close to Boston, MA. After that I continued travelling to a lot of places including Australia, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Thailand, Sweden... and a lot more.
I love to meet new people and get to know a city or country. I think, travelling alone is better to get into a city, because you get to know more locals. On the other hand, it is simpler to travel with a friend. Both types of travelling have their benefits and everytime I am travelling I find even more.

When I was travelling around New Zealand it was the greatest thing to go for a run at 6am in the morning, when everyone was still asleep. It is a totally different way of exploring a country... I know, I have some strange habits, but I like "normal acitivities" as well :D Going out to eat or drink, watching sports or going to a record shop and listing to music for hours.

Interests

The most exciting things to do??? I would say doing sports, photography, traveling and meeting people from different cultures...
