My name is Marina, but almost everybody calls me Mareini.
I've been doing Karate for more than 17 years - I even have a Karate-tattoo on my right ankle and also 6 other tattoos all over my legs, arms and ribs.
I'm a rather laid back person and I like to take my time. Nobody and nothing is chasing me, so there's no reason to run like crazy. I enjoy my life and I try to live every moment, because it never comes back.
But at times I'm also a pretty organized person, I sometimes like to make up plans and to-do-lists.
I love being outside, going for walks and looking at things that surround me.
I study social work and I love it.

Nothing is more important to me than my family and my friends. Nobody should ever forget where they come from.
My philosophy of life is "hakuna matata".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Heard about it shortly before my trip around the world in 2010. Couchsurfed during that trip, met so many cool people and had so much fun with each and every one of them. Amazing and unforgettable experiences.
