Hey everyone! I'm Marek, a 19-year-old recent high school graduate, looking forward to starting university this fall. I love exploring new adventures and connecting with others. Growing up has taught me the importance of community.

You'll often find me behind the camera, capturing moments and editing videos. Filmmaking and photography are my ways of sharing stories through visuals. I've filmed weddings, festivals, and various events, enjoying the challenge of capturing the essence of each occasion and meeting new interesting people.

I also enjoy sports like running and football. They keep me active and provide a great way to bond with others. Beyond sports and creative pursuits, I find fulfillment in volunteering in my community, particularly with kids. It's rewarding to make a positive impact and bring happiness to others.

I'm on Couchsurfing because it aligns perfectly with my love for travel, cultural immersion, and connecting with people from around the world.

My friends and I recently won DiscoverEU tickets, which has given us the chance to explore Western Europe. As students from Central Europe with limited budgets, Couchsurfing offers us a fantastic opportunity to experience different cultures firsthand without the financial strain of traditional accommodation. We're eager to engage with local communities, share stories, and forge genuine friendships along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

If I had to choose two from each category, I would say I enjoy Kanye's music and ABBA's tunes; Pirates of the Caribbean and Tarantino's films; and Lord of the Rings books along with motivational literature. However, I appreciate anything that is done with quality in terms of art.
