About Me

I dedicated my life to searching for hidden connections. The why behind the existence, creativity, and things we don't know yet. That is my reason to approach new experiences openly and broaden my horizons unboundedly. I study cybernetics and mechatronics in chemistry. Yet, at the same time, I'm deeply passionate about the human mind, drowning in books by the most inspiring people. Search for the answers took me to the kung fu club, where I learned the true potential of a disciplined mind and consistency in the practice of skills I'd like to make flourish. Next to my student's and sportsman's life lies my passion for NGO activities. Since my university years, I'd be a leader of one and a member of a few, giving me a blissful chance to find motivation of people offering no money but friendships and experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to travel the world, meet new folks and experience different cultures from local perspective. Would gladly share stories and experiences while building new friendships.

Interests

I'm really passionate about trying and learning new things. Sometimes I choose something extraordinary, stick with it for a while and move to something completely different. Some interests stay as I find out that there is still plenty I want to learn. For example martial arts and kung fu especially. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Depending on mood and setup, I can listen to anything and everything. I would say that I have a playlist for just about every situation - studying (Lofi), traveling (Indie folk), meditation (instrumental with the flute, guzheng, erhu). I like inspiring movies. Except for the clasics, I love films by Hayao Miyazaki and Makoto Shinkai. Beloved book is Behave by Robert Sapolsky - an American neuroendocrinologist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Practiced consistently and tirelessly though tears, sweat and blood to achieve world class level in sport's kung fu competition - 2018 The 8th International Kongfu Festival Quingdao China.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would gladly share some knowledge about a minimalism healthy lifestyle, from stretching based on kung fu practice and eating habits to spiritual and psychological well-being. I would love to learn about peoples' stories and the paths taken that shaped who they are. Their passions, dreams, and obstacles while fulfilling them. Learn about unique hobbies and skills. Share breathtaking or funny stories (or both at the same time).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Warm and friendly attitude, willingness to listen and learn. Neverending capacity to motivate others and oneself when needed.
