ABOUT ME

Since my first trip abroad a couple of years ago, I have been interested in traveling, meeting people, and seeing places. The world that intially appeared to be a fairly homogenous place, suddenly became a colourful mosaic of people and places waiting there to be discovered. And there is so much to various places around the globe you won't find on TV, that there is really no option but to go there and see it yourself.

Haven't participated in CS yet and I consider it to be a big mistake ;-)

Interests

Traveling ;-) languages (so much that I decided to pursue a PhD degree in linguistics), music of the 60s, 70s and 80s (which doesn't mean that I don't like modern music), history, good books, walking, hiking, skiing, jogging, badminton, knot tying... I am a retired Boy Scout and many of my interests are related to outdoor camping, pioneering etc.
