Chi sono

Hi everyone and welcome to my profile

I am a friendly and curious explorer who has always dreamt of travelling the world.
Since I was a kid I have always been attracted to the unknown. Experiencing foreign cultures is a priority for me, as I believe and mainly feel that if people were more willing and open to other cultures and other people in general the world would be much more peaceful, harmonious, tolerant, loving and caring place. We could learn so much from each other.

My journey of an amazing discovery (self-discovery incl. ) basically started about 4 years ago when I left my home and went to live in England, a place called Brighton. This lovely, hippie, artistic, wild, inspiring, open minded, multicultural, very vibrant, coastal city became my home for 3 years. After some time of working for several different companies I figured that there was something that I had been missing in my life, something that did not agree with the way I felt and still feel about life. So I left and started my journey as a backpacker.
I travelled all around New Zealand and at the moment I am in Australia feeling blessed and grateful for being able to do what truly makes my soul shine. Travelling, learning, discovering, growing, meeting new people and helping others. Yeah, in my opinion nothing is more than being able to help. That is why I do Workaway while travelling. It is such a brilliant concept which just shows that it is possible to live differently,, that money does not have to be the most important thing in our lives. That is also why I joined Couchsurfing.

In the future I plan on having my own small eco off-grid house with a workshop with all the great toys (tools) and a garden, living away from the rush of big cities ideally with like-minded people in a small community. So once I have this sorted you bet I am going to take workawayers and couchsurfers from all over the world :)

Being creative and loving hand crafts I am highly interested in any form of art and any form of expressing the emotions. I love music, photography working in a workshop. I play the guitar, didgeridoo and just recently started learning the saxophone.
I recently took up yoga classes as well which has become a significant and necessary part of my daily life.

I look forward to meeting many friendly people through Couchsurfing and I am positive that you will also enjoy my company :)

The link below is my workaway profile where I hope you can see my feedbacks as I don't have any reference here on Couchsurfing yet.

Nature is my religion and a great inspiration.

All the best from me to everybody and hopefully see you soon :)

Musica, film e libri

My taste of music is very broad. Anything from country, blues, jazz, heavy music, electro, world music and so on. Music is very important in my life. Should I pick up some of my recent discoveries it would be Sikth, Verve Remixed, Nicola Conte amongst other.
My favourite movies that instantly pop up in my mind are Into The Wild and Midnight in Paris. I enjoy watching films quite often.
One of the books I read recently was Mutant message Down Under. Amazing story, check it out :)

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

This is a tricky one. Not that I have not done anything amazing. Quite the opposite actually. Every moment of my life feels amazing, being able to travel and discover and connect with people, bring people together. Being open minded and flexible.
Somebody once told me that I make myself so vulnerable by letting people get to me so close. They said that it is a possitive thing. Whatever that means I don't feel vulnerable, if anything I feel strong :)

Insegna, impara, condividi

Traveling and interacting with others is a great opportunity to learn, getting an inspiration and as it happens being an inspiration.
