Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If you just travel, you don't "really" get to know the places, the people and the local culture. Couchsurfing changes that and makes it possible. Plus you can make new friends from people all over the world and do the same for them in return.

Interests

I love stories (told by people during conversations, stand-ups or in tv series, movies or books), reading about new ideas, places and technologies.

I love creating new things or making things better and more usable, I enjoy sweets with cinnamon and I also I daydream a lot :) Listening to the sound of rain and soundtracks, taking pictures, drinking coffee and tea, hanging out with friends or watching clever youtube channels has the "interest label" as well.

Sometimes I just enjoy long walks to clear my head and I love breaking my routine and trying something new to push my comfort zone... I'd like to learn how to edit video or play some instrument or... become full-time digital nomad.

From tv series: Buffy, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Game of Thrones and anything British or "from" Joss Whedon, Aaron Sorkin, Ron Moore or Bryan Fuller. Movies: The Prestige, Donnie Darko, Nolan Batman trilogy, Marvel cinematic universe, anything animated (Brave, Big Hero 6)...

I love soundtracks but I listen to almost anything, depends on my mood (Mumford & Sons, Ed Sheeran, Tim Minchin, Shinedown, Imagine Dragons...)

Books: Lately I've been listening to mostly audiobooks... but I have read books from JK Rowling, Stephen King, Terry Pratchett or Neil Gaiman.

I can share some tips for travelling (how to find cheap flights, what not to forget to pack or how to deal with unexpected things).

I can help you improve your website, eshop or mobile app; or introduce you to new apps and workflows that will make your work more effective (let's get rid of repetitive boring tasks!)

We can try and cook something from Czech cuisine or just share something about Czech republic (like swear words :))

I can teach you how to make a friendship bracelet or a give some knowledge about making websites... and also recommend you a good tv show (I watched too many of them).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can bring something typical from Czech republic (like beer or sweets) if airport security allows me to take it.
