It's really hard to pick a few. But if i must i would pick probably: Sun also rises by E. Hemingway, 9 stories by Salinger, Women by Ch. Bukowski, The Wind-up bird chronicle by Murakami, The kite runner by Khaled Hosseini, The Dark Tower series by Stephen King... I would probably write down another 20 but you know - nobody would even read it i guess.
