Hey, my name is Maren, I'm 21 years old and currently studying in Fulda.
Besides my studies, I spend my free time with friends- cooking together, chatting, drinking a class of wine or beer, going clubing or enjoying life outside in nature. Also, I have a passion for travelling and meeting new people all over the world so I try to do that as often as I can! Right now I am travelling in Guatemala and Mexico until October :)

I just love to spend my time with nice and interesting people, enjoying life and having fun while traveling!
However, I don´t like to travel somewhere and stay in that weird parallel tourism bubble. So I'd always prefer staying at a privat place over a fancy hotel...
In my opinion, there is no better way to get to know a country, it's history, culture and traditions than to meet local people introducing you to their way of live, showing you around and telling you their personal story :)

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

• finally receiving my driving license after failing the test twice - I swear there are definitely worse drivers out there haha :D
• visiting a national park in Kenya by bike and seeing the wildlife there
• spending three nights in the Surinamese jungle sleeping in hammocks and taking a bath in the river - never seen such a beautiful sky full of stars
• coming home after a long travel or after staying abroad for quite some time - cuddling my loved ones and eating home cooked meals is the best part of it! :)

Well, I live with two other students in a small apartment where I can offer you a big bed in a private room. There is always coffee and tea for you in the kitchen which you can also use for cooking :) Hopefully I am not too busy so that we can spend some time together - drinking some wine or beer while having some interesting conversations, going out or just staying at home! We might have more things in common as thought :)
Other than that, if I am staying at your place, maybe I could prepare German Kartoffelsalat for you or teach you some German tongue twisters or something like that?! :D
