My name is Maren from Cologne and Im new on Couchsurfing. Ive been told many good things about this platform and Ive just been to a very nice Couchsurfing Hangout of singers&songwriters in Cologne. I like the concept of sharing ones city and places with people. For that purpose I hope that I can be a good Mentor for an international volunteer of my volunteer organization next year. What am I doing at the moment? I changed my subject from political science to asian studies, since I cant stop thinking about my year abroad in China. I love the chinese language and I would like to start learning arabic next Semester. Im into languages a lot, so Im happy to communicate with you in any language C:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of a world without borders and full of hospitability. Everytime Ive been to a new place, no matter in Germany or in foreign countries, Ive been warmly welcomed there by the local People. I hope I can give some of that hospitability back, when you come around. And also I hope to enjoy more connecting experiences all over the world.
