ABOUT ME

I am an art student from California. I have lived there my whole life and really love the beach culture. Recently I have been getting really into surfing. I have been traveling/studying in New Zealand since January of this year. It has been nothing but adventure adventure ADVENTURE!!!!! I am so happy to be exploring this side of the world and have met some amazing friends along the way. I can't wait to see what's in store next!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm trying to live my life in a way that doesn't cause harm to the natural world and other people. I am continually learning from everyone around me, and I am very grateful for the blessings I have--family, friends, art and love!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just joined this community, so I am still unsure of all that I can do. I would really like to offer my couch back home. I am also a fan of giving people art that I make, I can cook for you and generally help out in whatever way I can!

I have just joined this community, so it is all new to me! I did meet some people from Australia that were raving about how awesome it is though!

Interests

Drawing, music, dancing, partying until the sun comes up, laughter, surfing, horses, yoga, painting, meditation, sunsets, reading, magical creatures, the ocean, pretty much creating anything I can! I also love hiking, swimming, exploring, going on adventures!

Music: Generally anything that I can groove to or that makes me think. But some favorites are: Angus and Julia Stone, Animal Collective, Tribe Called Quest, Fat Freddy's Drop, the Little Bushmen, Fugees, Johnny Cash, the Band, the Allman Brothers, Gil Scott-Heron, Nina Simone, Talking Heads, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Bob Marley, the Kinks....hm there are so many more. Pretty much anything I can dance to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have climbed to the top of a New Zealand volcano in the snow, escaped a wildfire riding a horse and have gone to Burning Man for two years now. Those things were all very epic experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to give hairwraps, I speak a bit of Spanish, I make really good guacamole and I can listen well. I would love to learn how to play an instrument, read your palm or do a cartwheel.
