About Me

23 year old me:
I've got an altruistic mindset and tend to value the present more than the future. That's probably why I smoke and spend my money on coffee and alcohol instead of saving it.

29 year old me:
I still value the present more than the future, but I'm not living at the cost of my future anymore. In short: I stopped smoking and make enough money to buy coffee, alcohol and put something into savings :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used it a few times when I was younger. Now I have my own cozy flat and want to give back to the community.

Interests

Riding my sweet old Suzuki through some long and fast corners.
Dancing is my next favorite thing. Usually to techno but if the athmosphere is right I can have fun anywhere with any kind of music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:
I like Martin Suter a lot, because he paints a really nice picture in my head every time. Generally I like realistic storys the most, but there are also some nice science-fiction books like The Hitchhiker's Guide or Blindsight (Peter Watts).
Also of course the thought provoking stuff (1984 or The Circle by Dave Eggers).

Music:
I love dancing to techno, especially deep and tech house. Sometimes a little psy and goa.
To chill, I listen to a lot of stuff.

Movies:
European movies are great! My favorite european movie is Victoria (it's 140 minutes long and it was filmed in one single continous shot!).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Touring through europe on my motocycle. I had no schedules and no places to be. Just me, my bike and a whole lot to discover.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love having drunk talks about politics or other ideological topics.
The most valuable lessons I learned are from people who don't actively teach you something. It's the little things, the behaviour or casually mentioned things, that stick with me for years.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The usual things like good conversations, help with the chores etc. I can cook a tiny little bit. So if you hate cooking, I can be your chef.

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Greece, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Belgium, Germany, Netherlands
