ABOUT ME

I've been living in Amsterdam for a few months now and seriously love it - come see for yourself!

I'm a big fan of water and beaches. Surfing, windsurfing, sailing, beachvolley - Always a good time. I like going to concerts and festivals, hang out in the park, or go out for a beer or dinner. When travelling, i hope to get a grasp of the everyday life of the place. The best thing is always the unexpected.

Im a bit of an idealist. I like to sit at the kitchen table (or anywhere) and discuss society over a drink. This is optional on your visit ;)

PHILOSOPHY

I really think people should take care to enjoy life, but not just for themselves. Look after eachother, everybody wins! I think people need a community more than they realise or are led to believe.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've couchsurfed on the Balkans and recommended it to everyone. Now that i have the opportunity to host people i hope i can give people a nice place to stay and get to know some interesting travellers in the process.

Interests

Politics, water sports, horsemanship, human development, sustainable development, economics, ecology, music (piano), and for no special reason I love penguins. A penguin tripping is funny ALWAYS.
