About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Just a girl looking for adventure.
ABOUT ME
I would say that I am a open and easy going person. I am shy at first but I usually am talkative once I get to know someone. I have an associates in Digital Media Technology and I am now going for my BFA in photography. I am pretty creative and also love to read. I also love to bake and cook (although I am a better baker than cook. haha...) I also love music and so down to either see a show or just listen to music on the stereo at home. I do own a ukulele but I am terrible at it! I like to knit and do other art projects like watercolor and drawing.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that art, music, or any kind of creative avenue people take adds beauty and makes living more bearable. I grew up having troubles with language and art was my way to connect with the world. I also felt learning to see the world from different perspectives makes it bigger and has made me a more compassionate person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can couchsurf but at the moment I am not able to host. I mostly want to see how this works out! :) I'll let you all know when I will be ready to host!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am new to this site but what brought me to doing this was meeting an adventurous gentleman. During spring break a few weeks ago I met a young musician (although he doesn't consider himself much of one. I beg to differ since I thought his music was beautiful.) in Nashville. It was one of those chance encounters that happens through complete chaos that things just fall into place. He ended up taking me and showing East Nashville, giving me a local's view of things. I had such a blast hanging out with him. It turned out we had so many things in common, it was crazy! He also told some stories of his travels throughout South America and Mexico. The last night we hung out we ended up listening to records at his house and going to a karaoke bar with some of his friends. Afterwards we just talked for hours. We said our see you laters because I hope to see him again, nothing is ever really good bye. I am not sure if I will see him again or even talk to him, but just from that experience I am more than ever open to travel. Even if we never talk again the best thing he could have ever given me was a glimpse into what it could be like to be open and just let life happen. Somehow things work out and sometimes the best thing to do is let the breeze take you where you need to be. However you have to put yourself out there in order to let things happen.
So why I am on this site is because I want to experience more life. One of my life's dreams is to travel all over the world. I always thought I had to have a certain job to allow me that but I learned that you don't need a lot of money to travel. Just a will and a way!
Interests
Art, photography, baking, cooking, music, books, walking, riding my bike, roaming to unknown places, thrift shopping, movies, trying to play music, I also like to drink but not crazy! Just socially speaking.
Fun fact about me, I used to play roller derby before I moved for school! If you play or like roller derby, I would love to attend a bout! I also am interested learning how to surf and/or skateboard too.

I am going to try to keep this short and sweet:
Movies: Ameile, Bridesmaids, Moonrise Kingdom... I love comedies and old movies. :)
