I’m a quiet sort of person who enjoys music and dancing, reading fiction, sharing good food and conversation with kind-hearted people. My husband is a retired engineer who enjoys golf and fixing things 😁. Our children are raised and starting families of their own although our youngest will live a different sort of life as he is autistic and behind his age peers cognitively and socially. Anyone who has lived with the challenge of autism will have their own chapter or two to tell about that aspect of their life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hotels are expensive and impersonal, although I do appreciate the amenities at high end hotels! Couch surfing will provide a way to extend hospitality to more people than we could otherwise.

Interests

I enjoy history, reading, hiking, trekking, swimming, beaches, most any natural setting, prefer warmer climates to cold ones. DH follows politics, golfs, hikes, is keen to visit national parks.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love many kinds of music, watch Netflix, etc. and read mostly fiction. DH plays piano, guitar, sax.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don’t believe I’ve done anything that fits the descriptor “amazing”. You can ask my DH about his amazing accomplishments 😄.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some country western line dances! DH can evaluate your golf swing.

If you host me, you will find I’m willing to pitch in with chores and pick up after myself.
