ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Margaret, I am from San Diego, California and I am currently studying abroad in Italy.

I have traveled a decent amount to different countries but not at all as much as I would like to. Studying business and psychology at my university I like to apply this to my studies when traveling.

I have been in Italy for about three months now and am determined to see as much of the world as I can while I am here.

I am a student and live in housing through my school, so unfortunately I cannot host anyone right now, but hopefully soon! I am open for a coffee or drink and I am more than happy to give advice about Rome if needed :)

Truthfully, I am really horrible with describing myself to other people because my friends do a better job at describing me than I do!

PHILOSOPHY

My goal in life is to experience as much as I can and be as cultured as possible. I have been incredibly blessed with the opportunity to travel since I was a child, so this is an opportunity I love to take advantage of. I live my life in order to change others in a positive way. All in all, the end goal would be to be as well-rounded as possible in order to spread the knowledge I have to friends and family.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had a little bit of experience couchsurfing but I love it! I always heard great things about it and I decided to find out for myself. Everyone I have met has been more than welcoming and they are usually as excited to meet new people as I am!

I love books and films. I watch way too many movies and reading is an enjoyable habit of mine. I love controversial topics when I am in search for a new book to read or movie to watch, something that will make me think.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The only thing I have done, which was extremely exhilarating but terrifying at the same time would be skydiving. I went skydiving for my 19th birthday and it was probably one of the best experiences of my life.

I don't know if I would make the greatest teacher but I do have a lot of stories to share. I love sharing political and philosophical views on topics people are too afraid to talk about. I would like to learn about other view points and perspectives on topics I would never think of myself.
